Glimpses | Behind the Aje Resort 24 Runway
Imagined in a Sydney atelier, showcased at the Sydney Modern Project: the 15th anniversary Aje Resort 24 'Element' runway was a grand moment many months in the making.
Envisioned by Aje Co-founders Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris and supported by a slew of creative collaborators, the milestone show celebrated the essence and evolution of Aje, with a myriad of tastemakers and friends of the brand attending the celebratory runway presented by Samsung.
Below, enjoy a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the Resort 24 runway, and meet the artists and partners who helped bring ‘Element’ to life, as captured by photographers Rob Tennent and Oliver Begg.

Backstage, Beauty Director Isabella Schimid created the Resort 24 models’ raw beauty look by preparing their complexions with Elizabeth Arden’s Advanced Light Ceramide Lift And Firm Day Cream and the Eight Hour Cream range to create a hydrated and dewy base.
To enhance their features and allow the skin’s natural texture to be seen, she continued by using the venerable cosmetics house’s Lip Color Lipstick for a fresh look with a soft, summery glow, adding a wash of colour to the cheeks and pout.

Styled to look undone with a touch of polish, models’ locks were finessed with ghd tools and products. Looking to reflect the raw yet elevated aesthetic of the collection, Hair Director Pauline McCabe worked with each muse’s natural texture to create a look of undone elegance, roughly slicking back their strands while creating volume at the root with a hint of texture.
