Behind The Summer 26 Rebel Rebel Paris Fashion Week Look
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GHD & WELLA PROFESSIONALS
Hair Director Renya Xydis brings the Rebel Rebel Paris Fashion Week runway to life – in collaboration with ghd and Wella Professionals, and captured through the lens of Charlie Ashfield.
Channelling the raw textures of the Australian landscape – salt-dried strands, windswept movement, sunlit softness – hair took on an elementally elegant tone. Each model’s natural texture was enhanced, embracing individuality with a raw, lived-in edge. “It’s the opposite of doing hair,” said Xydis. “It’s about finding that effortless cool – French meets Aussie girl, real hair that moves.”
Hair was prepped and restored with Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue and Ultimate Smooth Miracle Oil Serum, delivering deep hydration, strength and shine. Stylists added volume using EIMI Volume Perfect Setting, with EIMI Mistify Me Light Hairspray for touchable hold. EIMI Texture Ocean Spritz created a salt-swept finish, and EIMI Texture Sculpt Force Gel added movement, texture, and curves.
ghd tools shaped the hair with sculptural ease.
The ghd Helios Hair Dryer, with its precise airflow and ergonomic control, prepped the base. The ghd Chronos Hair Straightener smoothed lengths and enhanced shine. Waves were created using the ghd. Chronos Curve Max Wand for soft bends, the ghd Curve Conical Wand for tousled texture, and the ghd Classic Curling Tong and ghd Grand Tong for high-definition spirals. The ghd Wave Triple Barrel Waver brought effortless, beachy fluidity, echoing Rebel Rebel’s refined yet undone silhouettes.
Final touches were chosen per model: EIMI Volume Dry Me for airy lift, Ultimate Smooth Miracle Oil Serum for smoothing detail, and EIMI Glam Mist for luminous finish.
Where effortless elegance meets modern artistry, the runway look is a showcase of raw beauty, redefined for the modern muse.
