Aje Co-founders, Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris, are committed to collaborating with partners who are on a similar sustainable journey. Edwina shares with the Aje Report, “collaborating with Local Supply has been an enriching creative experience, as our two design teams came together with a shared love of craftsmanship, tactile materials and fine details.” Since Local Supply’s inception in 2013, their ethos has been guided by principles of sustainability, design, diversity and community, whilst working to reduce their carbon emissions throughout their supply chain. The eyewear brand’s focus on sustainable, ethical and responsible production, resonated with Edwina and Adrian’s ongoing conscious decisions within their Aje Aware commitments, making this collaboration genuine and authentic to the values of both brands.

As the Resort 22 collection takes inspiration from the carefree and hedonistic days of the 60s, a retro embodiment of nostalgia is created in The Catfarer. Classic elements from the traditional cat eye and wayfarer styles meet in unison to create this unique, vintage shape; oversized and with a subtle cursive Aje logo on the side of the frame.
